Mendelssohn Hall Foyer
The Mendelssohn Hall Foyer is a separate area of approximately 300 square metres connected directly to the Gallery Foyer of the Great Hall.The ambience of the foyer makes it ideally suited for small musical performances, readings, press conferences, meetings and receptions. Sound support can be provided by mobile equipment connected to the house studios.
All the foyers and public areas in the Gewandhaus are connected. They may be rented and used individually or in combination. The house can be reached on the protocol routes via Augustusplatz or Schillerstrasse/Moritzbastei.
