Service for mobility impaired concertgoers
The Augustusplatz underground car park offers dedicated parking spaces for the mobility impaired, from which the Gewandhaus can be accessed without impediment.
The Gewandhaus is fully equipped and accessible for the mobility impaired. Wheelchair users and their companions are entitled to particularly suitable seats in the Halls, which are accessible via lifts.
The box office will be happy to recommend suitable seats to hearing aid users. Both the Great Hall and the Mendelssohn Hall are fitted with induction loops. Our Visitors Service will be happy to assist you.
