Public & individual guided toursThe Leipzig Tourist Service Friedel runs both scheduled and individually booked guided tours of the Gewandhaus. The schedule of tours can be found in the Calendar.

Combine your guided tour on a Saturday with the Organ Hour at 17:00 in the Great Hall.
Service for mobility impaired concertgoers
The Augustusplatz underground car park offers dedicated parking spaces for the mobility impaired, from which the Gewandhaus can be accessed without impediment.
The Gewandhaus is fully equipped and accessible for the mobility impaired. Wheelchair users and their companions are entitled to particularly suitable seats in the Halls, which are accessible via lifts.
The box office will be happy to recommend suitable seats to hearing aid users. Both the Great Hall and the Mendelssohn Hall are fitted with induction loops. Our Visitors Service will be happy to assist you.
Public transport & parking
Concert ticket as tram ticket
All tickets for Gewandhaus promotions and Gewandhaus subscription cards are valid for free travel within the Leipzig public transport network (MDV zone 110, as well as one adjacent zone: 151, 156, 162, 164 or 168) up to three hours before and after the concert.

Reduced price parking
We recommend that drivers make use of the modern Augustusplatz underground car park, which offers direct access to the Gewandhaus. A fixed tarif of €3.50 applies for concertgoers under the following conditions:
• entrance to the garage 3 hours before commencement of the event
• payment of the parking charge before the event or during the interval at one of the payment machines in the Gewandhaus foyer
• exit no later than 3 hours after the end of the event.
Parking tickets for €3.00 are available from the Gewandhaus box office when purchasing tickets in advance.
