Online
Tickets can be purchased online for all events presented on this website that are accompanied by the following symbol: "T".By clicking on this symbol you will be transferred to our online booking service. Please note that online bookings are processed by CTS Eventim AG. Terms and conditions of CTS Eventim AG apply.
By Email
Tickets can also be booked by Email. Please state the date, time and title of the event, the number of tickets required and your preferred seats. We will process your booking as promptly as possible.

We are also happy to accept your booking by telephone. The box office is open Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-14:00.
Reductions
Last Minute Tickets
Schoolchildren, students, trainees and those engaged in German voluntary service can purchase unsold tickets thirty minutes before commencement of an event. Prices range from €3 to €11, depending on the event. Relevant identification must be presented at the box office.
Schoolchildren, students, trainees, those engaged in German voluntary service and Leipzig-Pass holders are entitled to a reduction on the full price of numerous concerts. Appropriate identification must be voluntarily presented to the admission personnel on entering the Gewandhaus.
Mobility impaired concertgoers are welcome to be escorted by a companion, insofar as this entitlement is registered on their handicapped pass.
Leipzig-Card holders receive a discount of 10% for many Gewandhaus concerts and events.

Advance booking
Advance booking at the Gewandhaus box office and all approved ticket agencies commences on 1st July each year for the season beginning the following September.
Exceptions to this procedure can be found below. Further occasional exceptions will be announced on the news pages of this website.
The Gewandhaus recommends the reservation of tickets in writing following publication of the new season brochure each February. Your reservation will be confirmed without obligation, in writing, shortly afterwards.
Written ticket reservations will be accepted by the Gewandhaus box office following publication of the respective new season brochure and processed in order of receipt.
You can also reserve your concert tickets online or with a smartphone.
Christmas Oratorio and Beethoven's 9th
Tickets for J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio in St. Thomas's Church and for the Große Concerte with Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the end of the year can only be booked in writing (fax, Email or letter) and are limited to two tickets per order. All ticket requests will be processed on 15th August (receipt of post in the Gewandhaus) for the December of that year. The ticket allocation is processed independently of the order of receipt of bookings. Notification of successful or unsuccessful ticket application will be issued in the middle of September.
The sale of any remaining tickets for Christmas Oratorio and Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the Gewandhaus box office and other approved ticket agencies begins on 1stNovember.
